FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Please submit a completed booking form under “CONTACT” with your event information. Once we receive that email, we will check for availability and will be able to provide a more accurate quote.
  • We require a 50% non-refundable booking retainer to secure your event date. The remaining balance of payment is due 7 days prior to your event date. If booking only one week out from your event date, payment must be in full at time of booking,
  • We may have multiple inquiries for your requested event date, so please understand that your event date is not secured unless a retainer has been received and we have payment confirmation. A confirmation email will be sent after retainer has been received.
  • We will hold your requested booking date for 48 hours after the invoice has been sent, if a retainer is not received within 48 hours, the date will be released and become available.


  • All payments are due as detailed in the One Fine Picnic invoice to the Client.
  • Payments should be made as requested by One Fine Picnic (CC/Bank Transfer). Other forms may be an option, please discuss with us.
  • Bookings will not be confirmed or secured without a retainer. Failure to pay an invoice may result in cancellation of a booking and loss of retainer.r to this item.


  • We ask for at least a 7-10 day notice to get your picnic prepared, however, early booking is recommended to secure your desired date and time.
  • Depending on availability, we may be able to accommodate last-minute bookings.


  • We are based out of NW Wichita and love hosting picnics all over the city!
  • We can set-up in your home, backyard, at the park, etc. If you have the perfect spot in mind, let us know! If not, we can help recommend locations for you.
  • For indoor picnics we require an ample amount of furniture-free space to set up and may ask for photos of the indoor space to better prepare.
  • It is necessary to have all furniture moved prior to our arrival, otherwise an additional fee will be incurred (from your damage deposit), and may cut into your allotted picnic time. 


  • Week day picnic hours are 11:00am - 8:00pm 
  • Saturday hours are 11:00am-8:00pm
  • Closed on Sundays


  • We do not offer any refund, but we can change your reservation if notified within 72 hours of the original event date. If not, it may result in the loss of the 50% non-refundable retainer.
  • If you need to cancel your booking, we will apply the Client’s original 50% non-refundable retainer towards a rescheduled event if it is within 3 months of the original event date. The canceled event must be equal or higher value when rescheduling.
  • If the Client does not show up to the Event, the option to reschedule will not be provided and payment will not be refunded.


  • In the event of predicted/forecasted wet weather, One Fine Picnic will not assemble items outdoors. The Client has up to 72 hours prior to the Event to decide if they would like to proceed with alternate arrangements at an indoor covered location or to reschedule the event date.
  • We will do our best to monitor the weather forecast and contact our clients prior to the event but it will ultimately be your responsibility to monitor and take actions accordingly.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to decide to reschedule (within a 3 month period) and/or to arrange an alternate location site. One Fine Picnic does not provide an indoor location at this time.


  • Yes! Our invoice can be modified up to 1 week prior to the event so all details will need to be finalized by then.


  • We do it ALL! Date nights, anniversaries, proposals, bridal showers, birthdays, girl’s night, brunches, baby showers, gender reveals, luncheons, etc.
  • Not limited to these listed events, we are open to setting up for any types of events.


  • We can currently accommodate up to 10 guests.
  • Please email us regarding large parties as we can discuss other accommodations.


  • We ask that guests do not arrive to their picnic early as we need sufficient time to set up the picnic perfectly.
  • If you need to stop by early to drop something off, please inform us so we can arrange a time with our styling team who will be on site.
  • Arriving early will interfere with the set up so you may be asked to kindly give us space to complete the setup – we will do our best to finish as soon as possible but we want it as perfect as it should be for you (we will not rush to complete the set up for early arrivals).


  • We are partnering with local Wichita businesses to provide charcuterie and dessert add-on options. Please see our "ADD-ONS" page for more information.
  • If the client prefers, they may bring their own food for the event or even have their favorite selections delivered, depending on their picnic location.


  • Due to restrictions and licensing, we cannot sell or provide alcohol. It is the responsibility of the Client to check the alcohol laws of any venue or public space being used for your event.
  • It is always important to follow the rules of the location and to be responsible and respectful.
  • One Fine Picnic takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties that occurred. We are not liable for the disregard of those rules.


  • Not at this time. We are currently only offering our Classic package as listed. If there are certain items you would like for us to remove, we will gladly do so, but the price for our package will remain the same.
  • At this time, there are no substitution options, only add-ons for an additional cost. We have researched and carefully thought out our package for the ultimate picnic experience.


  • The Client is responsible for the supervision and security of One Fine Picnic rental items until such time that it is collected by One Fine Picnic. We ask that if the Client plans to leave early, please text our team 30 minutes prior to notify us so our items are not left unattended.


  • One Fine Picnic takes a refundable damage deposit of $75 for each booking in case of damage, loss, or theft during the picnic. In the case of damage, loss, or theft, the value of replacing, repairing, or deep cleaning will be deducted from the amount.
  • The damage deposit will be returned in full within 3-10 business days after the event if no damage or loss has been incurred on used equipment and no deep cleaning is required for any of the equipment. If the damage of loss supersedes the deposit, you will additionally be charged with the full rental cost of the item(s) in question.
  • All rental items supplied to the Client are property of One Fine Picnic unless otherwise stated in a signed invoice.


We cannot extend the allotted booking time for your group. If you arrive late you will be able to use the picnic for the remainder of the time that you are booked for.
